Holy Caholies Batman thats A LOT of work for just 1 insert! Countless hours spent sanding, cleaning and screening. The reason for making the jig to clear and screen the insert. With the plastic being so lite, it keeps it in place while spraying. The same is true for the silkscreen. The insert is too light just to put under the screen, the weight/wetness of the ink would just make the insert stick to the bottom of the screen. Not to mention the board served as an even platform for the squeegee when screening the piece.
